Collection and updates
The standalone crawler checks sources every hour. A successful check does not mean a new price: markets close, monthly series update monthly, and administered tariffs change only on effective dates. Failed fetches retain the last verified price and show its date.
Available sources
Yahoo Finance ↗ — Daily futures observations from Yahoo Finance. Contract prices may differ from spot and retail prices. Trading days only; source and units are shown below.
World Bank Pink Sheet ↗ — World Bank Pink Sheet monthly average. Each observation represents a month, not a daily quote. The source series, unit and history are shown below.
Petrolimex ↗ — Published Petrolimex Region 1 retail fuel price in Vietnam. Values apply from their effective dates and remain until the next adjustment.
EVN ↗ — Vietnam's published average retail electricity tariff. This is an average tariff, not a household consumption bracket. Prices follow effective publication dates.
SunSirs ↗ — Daily China spot price assessment published by SunSirs, in CNY per metric tonne. This is the provider’s product benchmark, not a retail offer or a Singapore/London quotation.
Key gold markets
Actual source quotes for selected gold markets. Retail buy/sell prices differ by brand and location. The chart uses the selling price when available; futures and spot assessments remain separate.
IBJA ↗ — IBJA PM closing assessment for India gold 999, INR per 10 grams, excluding GST and making charges.
Representative commodity index
This display index uses gold, silver, Brent crude, copper and Arabica coffee with equal weights of 20%. A date qualifies when at least three of the five series have an actual price observation on that date. Each missing price uses the most recent available price before that date. A point is calculated only when all five components have a known price; future prices are never used. For each selected range, each series is set to 100 using its price on the first qualifying index date, and the index is the arithmetic mean of the five normalized series. Earlier observations may supply starting prices for the selected range. Source histories remain unchanged. This is a representative basket rather than a published global benchmark.
History and comparisons
Daily histories contain recorded trading or publication days only. World Bank monthly averages remain monthly and are never interpolated into daily prices. Change = (latest / previous − 1) × 100. Group breadth counts daily and monthly series separately. CSV exports retain ISO dates and invariant numeric values.
Verification and source records
Every displayed observation keeps its source URL and publication date. The crawler records the successful check separately from the published price date, so an hourly check never turns into a false hourly price. Rows with an unavailable source retain the last verified observation and show that condition on the price page.
Corrections and availability
When a provider revises a published value, the next verified collection replaces that observation while the source link remains visible. A missing or failed collection is not estimated, interpolated or filled with a value from another market. This makes gaps and revisions inspectable in the chart, table and CSV.
Editorial scope
Price CloudO3 is a reference-data service. It presents source-attributed observations, market specifications and historical records; it does not provide investment, trading or procurement advice. The market, unit, frequency and named source on each page define what that series represents.
Languages and units
Language changes labels, number formatting and dates. It does not change the quote currency or unit. English (US) is the default. Taiwan uses Traditional Chinese; Portuguese follows Portugal conventions.
Coverage and use
Some markets require licensed or paid feeds. Yellow phosphorus, China steel, lithium carbonate and methanol remain pending until verified sources are connected. Reference prices are informational and may be delayed. Source attribution does not grant redistribution rights; check each provider's terms before commercial reuse.
